Guitarbacus basics
One pattern. A whole world of sound.
Guitarbacus is a visual companion for improvising. The fretboard shows a family of notes; the orange notes mark your root, the note that feels like home.
With Mode locked, moving the root shifts the whole pattern into a new key. Switch to Explore modes to keep the same family of notes and choose a different root within it. The pattern stays in place, but the musical center changes.
Drag sideways, use the arrows, or choose a root and mode. You can also tap a fret to choose its note as the root. In Explore modes, only notes in the current family can become the root.
